Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz orders to strictly implement one-dish ban in weddings

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz ordered to strictly implement the one-dish ban in wedding ceremonies across the province.

She passed the order while presiding over the 6th meeting of the Punjab Cabinet on Tuesday.

The cabinet approved to restore supply of free medicines to cancer patients. It also approved in principle for issuance of Nawaz Sharif Kissan Card.

However, it could not make the decision on the purchase of wheat from farmers. The cabinet deliberated on giving a subsidy to small farmers. "All resources are available for farmers. We will not allow the middleman to exploit the farmers," she declared.
