Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar visits Ehsas Kafalat Programme centres

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited Ehsas Kafalat Programme centres in Mandi Bahauddin and Gujjar Khan on Tuesday. During the visits, he inspected the process to distribute the relief assistance. He was briefed about the distribution of the financial aid. He also interacted with the people present in the centres. They appreciated the government for announcing a big amount for them. The chief minister expressed his satisfaction with the distribution process. Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that they would not let the shortage of resources a hurdle in providing relief to the deserving people. “The Ehsas Kafalat Programme will be the fairest program in the country's history,” he said. Later, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited a 130-bed field hospital prepared in the shortest period. “The capacity of the field hospital can be extended to 300 beds. Arrangements have also been made for doctors, nurses and paramedics,” he maintained. He said that the patients would be kept in isolation and it has been attached with Rawalpindi Institute of Urology. The CM said that the best way to protect against the coronavirus epidemic is to stay at home. Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid, the PDMA DG and other high-ranking officers were also present.
