Punjab CM Usman Buzdar announces several mega projects for Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar announced several mega projects for Lahore on Friday.

Addressing a ceremony, he said that the projects include a 1,000-bed hospitals, thousands of apartments and a modern bus stand. "We will not stop the development projects launched by the previous government," he declared.

He said that they are taking all-possible steps for the development of Lahore. "The development projects will change the destiny of the city," he added.

The chief minister said that public relief is the top priority in their policies. "An overhead bridge is being constructed near Karim Block, a flyover near Gulab Devi Hospital and a bridge from Railway Station to Sheranwala Chowk are being constructed," he said.

He said that medicines and machinery are being provided to hospitals. "A 1,000-bed hospital over 124 kanals is being established, while Children Hospital being upgraded to a university," he said.

Usman Buzdar said that work on the Ravi River project was going on at a fast pace. "An international standard bus terminal will be established near Thokhar Niaz Baig," he said.

He said that a plan had been approved for improving the shrine of Hazrat Data Gunj Bukhsh and Bibi Pak Daman.
