Punjab CM Usman Buzdar, UAE ambassador discuss ways to enhance bilateral ties

LAHORE (92 News) – UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday. They discussed the matters of mutual interest, including the enhancement of bilateral relations and cooperation in different sectors. They agreed to enhance cooperation in the sectors of business, industry and housing. The Punjab CM and the UAE ambassador agreed to promote mutual cooperation and maintain the continuance of the close relations. UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi appreciated the steps taken by the Punjab chief minister to control coronavirus. Punjab CM Usman Buzdar said that Pakistan and the UAE enjoy the best friendly relations. "13 special economic zones are being constructed first time in Punjab. The foundation stone of the third biggest special economic zones will be laid in Bahawalpur soon," he said. He said that a new city would be constructed along the River Ravi. "The project will reduce pollution as well as resolve the problem of underground water," he added. The CM invited the UAE investors to make investment in special economic zones, Ravi River Front Urban Development Project as special incentives will be offered on these projects.
