Punjab CM visits Nishter Hospital Multan

MULTAN (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar visited the Nishter Hospital Multan and inspected the medical facilities provided to the patients. During his visit, Usman Buzdar enquired the patients and their attendants about the treatment provided to them. He directed the administration of Nishter Hospital to improve the general conditions of cleanliness. The Punjab CM said that no complaint should arise with regard to provision of free medicines. The minister ordered to ensure the provision of free medicines at every cost in hospitals. CM Buzdar asserted that the residents of Multan would be soon gifted Nishter-II project and that an organized system was being devised for provision of quality medicines. On the occasion, the Punjab CM has asserted that the up-gradation of health sector is the top priority of the provincial government. Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited District Headquarters Hospital, Kasur without any protocol. Health Minister Yasmin Rashid also accompanied him. He inquired after the health of patients in different wards. He passed orders for immediate resolution of the complaints of the patients. The chief minister said that the purpose of his visit is to review the facilities being provided to the masses in government hospitals. “It is right of patients to provide them quality medical facilities in hospitals,” he said. The Punjab CM said that he would improve the condition of hospitals. PTI workers  gathered there and chanted slogans in favour of the chief minister. On jan 12, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Saturday visited Gujranwala and suspended the GDA director general for his poor performance. Addressing a high-level meeting, he directed to take immediate steps for improving Solid Waste Management Department. He also ordered to transfer the Health CEO due to complaints against him. The chief minister also decided to get the complaints against the WASA and the GDA investigated by the Chief Minister Inspection Team (CMIT).
