Punjab CM visits various areas of Lahore without protocol

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar visited different areas of Lahore to review drainage arrangement after heavy rain and storm wind lashed Lahore at night. According to the reports, the Punjab chief minister visited parts of the city without security and protocol. He also expressed anger over stagnant water at some places. He examined the Jail Road, Gulberg, Canal Road, Mall Road and many other areas of the provincial city. CM Buzdar further said that this time best arrangements have been made for citizens by the government to avoid any problem during the monsoon season. At night, heavy rain in Lahore opened the administration’s performance here. The heavy rain lashed in Lahore as the city roads gave a look of canals after rain shower which started around 10:00pm. Although, rain brought down temperature to a pleasant range but at the same time left several areas flooded in parts of city.
