Punjab CTD arrests Osama bin Laden’s close aide Aminul Haq

LAHORE (92 News) - The Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday arrested Aminul Haq, a close aide of Osama bin Laden.

CTD Additional IG Usman Akram Gondal said that the terrorist was arrested after an intelligence-based operation. “Aminul Haq is a leading militant of Al-Qaeda who is on the terrorists’ list announced by the United Nations,” he added.

He said that investigations had been started after registering a case against the terrorist.

“The CTD is determined to root out the menace of terrorism from the society,” he resolved.
