Punjab got a share of 70,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine: Dr Yasmin Rashid

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid said that the province had received a share of 70,000 doses of the coronavirus vaccine from the federal government.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, she said that the vaccine was being shifted to Lahore from Rawalpindi and it would be shifted to Cold Chain Warehouse in Manga Mandi.

She said it was their priority to vaccinate the health workers. "The process to administer the vaccine will be started in a couple of days," she added.

Dr Yasmin Rashid said that currently smart lockdown had been enforced at 18 places. She urged the people to follow the anti-coronavirus SOPs.

She said that all healthcare and senior citizens would be vaccinated in 4-5 months.
