Punjab government decides to challenge release of Lakhvi in SC

LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab government has decided to challenge the verdict of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) regarding the release of Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi. According to sources, the Punjab Home secretary will approach the Supreme Court. It will be pointed out in the application to be submitted in the Supreme Court that the Punjab government has solid proofs on which he can be detained. It will be prayed to court that the order to release Lakhvi should be annulled.
