Punjab govt bans meetings with prisoners in jails for 10 days

LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab government imposed a ban on meetings with prisoners in jails for 10 days on Tuesday.

Only a relative with his CNIC will be able to deposit luggage at the canteen. Money can only be sent to prisoners through PPs.

On the other hand, the authorities are taking strict action on violations of COVID-19 SOPs and sealed several shops. Hundreds of vehicles were issued challan tickets for violating the SOPs.

Meanwhile, the Private Schools and Colleges Association staged a demonstration in Islamabad to press for reopening the educational institutions. Hundreds of students and teachers participated in the protest.
