Punjab govt departments to be reopened tomorrow

LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab government has decided to reopen the government departments from Wednesday. According to the notification issued on Tuesday, all departments have been directed to ensure implementation of the Coronavirus SOPs. The administrative secretaries will be able to visit offices for work. However, the staff will work from their homes. On April 1, Punjab had decided to close all its shops and markets by 5pm to intensify the lockdown to curb the deadly coronavirus outbreak across the province. The decision was taken by Usman Buzdar after new cases of the coronavirus emerged speedily in the province. All shops and markets have been instructed to operate from 9am to 5pm.The medical stores and pharmacies were exempted from restrictions.
