Punjab govt issues SOPs for tourist resorts, hotels

LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab government has issued standard operating procedures (SOPs) for tourist resorts, restaurants and hotels. According to the SOPs, the hotel staffers will check temperature of tourists at exit gates. The tourists running high temperature will either be sent back or sent to hospital. Moreover, hotels will make arrangements for disinfect gates and sanitizers. Tourists not wearing masks should be provided with masks. No permission should be allowed without masks and sanitizers. Hotel managements will have to strictly follow social distancing. More than two people should not be allowed at a table. Hotels will not book more than 75 percent rooms. In addition, hotels will maintain the data of tourists. Hotel employees will use masks, gloves and sanitizers.
