Punjab Govt lifts time restriction on markets and shops

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Govt lifts time restriction on markets and shops ahead of Eidul Adha.

CM Punjab Hamza Shehbaz Sharif gave a big Eid gift to the people and business community. The Punjab government lifted the ban on closing markets and bazaars across the province at 9 pm till midnight. The decision will be applicable across Punjab from July 2.

Punjab CM Hamza Shehbaz says the decision is for the convenience of the business community and the people.

The National Traders Union welcomed the announcement of keeping the markets open till Eid. The business leaders thanked the Punjab government for extending the working hours of the markets till Eid. They said that the business community would now be able to do business openly on Eid.

The Punjab government had decided to close markets across the province on June 20 at 9 pm.
