LAHORE (92 News) – The incumbent Punjab government on Sunday made massive transfers at large scale in the police department.
As per the details, as many as 36 police officers including deputy inspector general of police (DIG) and superintendent of police (SP) in different regions have been transferred across Punjab. Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Amjad Javed Saleemi issued the orders of transfers.
The notification issued by Punjab Police stated that CCPO Lahore BA Nasir asppointed as additional IG logistics procurement, while DIG information and technology Zulifqar Hameed replaced him as CCPO Lahore.
RPO Gujranwala Shahid Hanif appointed as additional IG elite force and DIG police welfare Tariq Abbas posted RPO Gujranwala.
RPO Multan Kanwar Muhammad Shah Rukh has been made commandant Punjab constabulary whereas, waseem Ahmad Sial has been made RPO Multan. Likewise, Sohail Habib Tajik RPO Bahawalpur and Bilal Sadiqque RPO Sheikhpura have been appointed.
Muhammad Ali Zia, Sadiq Ali and Athar Ismail were appointed as DPO Sahiwal, Toba Tek Singh and Okara respectively.
The orders have been issued to appoint Mumtaz Ahmad DPO Mianwali, Ibadat Nisar DPO Khushab and Irfan Tariq DPO Bhakkar. Jahanzeb Nazir appointed as DPO Sheikhpura, Atif as DPO DG Khan and Muhammad Masooom as DPO Khanewal.
Moreover, Malik Jameel Zafar has been appointed as DPO Lodhraan, Rana Tahir Rehman DPO Layyah, Muhammad Atif Akram DPO Vehari.
Imran Kishwar to DPO Muzaffarabad, Haroon Rasheed Khan DPO Rajinpur, Muhammad Shehzad DPO Kasur, Najeebur Rehman DPO Narowal, Ameer Taimor DPO Bahawalpur and Muhammad Anwar has been appointed as Chiniot DPO.
However, it was directed to DPO Hafizabad Saifullah Khan, DPO Khushab Syed Hussnain, DPO Mianwali Syed Qarar and DPO Layyah Zahid Nawaz to report at CPO office.
