Punjab govt making venue of public meeting a dam: Maulana Fazalur Rehman

Talking to the media after a meeting with the leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on Wednesday, he said that the opposition's decision to hold the meeting is final. "The people from across the country will participate in the meeting," he added.

He said that the elections would be fake if held under these assemblies. "We are devising a strategy in this regard as well," he added.

The JUI-F chief said that they do not consider the government as representative of the masses. "How can the system be improved if such government is protected by the establishment?" he added.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that each tool would be utilized to send PM Imran Khan home. "We all have come out to send Imran Khan's facilitators home," he added.

He said that the PPP had faced the dictators and it would face them as well.

PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Maulana Fazalur Rehman had informed about tendering the resignations.

She said that the Lahore meeting would be held at all cost despite watering the ground.
