Punjab govt to present budget for FY2024-25 today
LAHORE (92 News) - The Punjab government will present the budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 on Thursday.
According to sources, the total volume of the budget is expected Rs5,370 billion. The revenue target has been set at Rs1,026 billion. The Punjab government is likely to get Rs3,700 billion from the federal government under the National Finance Commission (NFC). An amount of Rs76.615 billion will be allocated for specialized healthcare.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reprimanded the authorities by showing a video Children's Hospital, Lahore. She said that they would have change the entire health system. “We will have to introduce a system of monitoring and accountability,” she added.
