According to the sources, hours after the Punjab government raised objections to a medical report attached with an appeal of Nawaz Sharif to extend his bail period, the Home Department received latest second report of the former premier. "Mr Sharif has been recommended by the doctors to go out for short walks at least twice a day. He went out with his family on their insistence and as per medical advice but sadly the issue is being politicised." Dr Adnan Khan explained that Nawaz Sharif's disease conditions are further confirmed and endorsed by UK doctors as similarly it was diagnosed initially by doctors appointed by the PTI government, recommending treatment abroad. Earlier today, the Punjab government rejected the medical report of former premier Nawaz Sharif for extension in his bail. The Punjab government has also raised objections, directing Dr Adnan to send latest medical reports of Nawaz Sharif. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said that former diagnosis of Nawaz Sharif had been shown in the report. She said that Nawaz Sharif is enjoying life, but his doctors say his condition is deteriorating. “Nawaz Sharif’s bail for treatment expired on December 25. His lawyer Khawaja Haris sent the medial report on December 27. A meeting of the medical board was convened on December 27. There was nothing new in the report and only old things had been narrated which we already knew,” she said. Dr Yasmin Rashid said that the medical board termed the reports incomplete. “Outing is not done in a restaurant. Maryam Nawaz also wants to go abroad to inquire after him,” she said.
