Punjab IGP fears involvement of anti-Pakistan agency in Jaranwala tragedy

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab IGP Dr Usman Anwar on Monday feared that the anti-Pakistan agency could be involved in the Jaranwala tragedy.

Addressing a press conference, he said that they had broken the network and three main accused had been arrested besides the Christian accused.

"A conspiracy was hatched to pitch the Muslims against the Christian community. We will not allow anyone to take the law into his hand," he declared.

The IGP said that hate content was found from the mobile phones of the accused.

He said that another such incident occurred in a Sargodha village. "After the incident, several Muslims opened their houses for the Christians," he added.
