Purchase of costly engines: NAB starts inquiry against Kh Saad Rafique

LAHORE (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has started an inquiry against PML-N MNA for purchasing costly engines on Monday. According to the NAB, the former railway minister had purchased an engine for Rs 400 million, while the same engine was purchased by India for Rs 250 million. Meanwhile, the NAB has started investigations against Khawaja Salman Rafique for purchasing medicines and machinery at exorbitant rates. The National Accountability Bureau had arrested former railways minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother former Punjab health minister Khawaja Salman Rafique after the Lahore High Court dismissed their bail pleas in the Paragon housing society scam.
