PVMA announces to go on strike against PFA raids on ghee mills

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers' Association (PVMA) has on Wednesday announced to go on strike against the Director General Punjab Food Authority (PFA) raids on Ghee mills. Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers' Association (PVMA) chairman Aizaz Ali Malik said that the administration is harassing them. He said that they will also stage a sit-in out the office of Director General Food Authority. Aizaz Ali Malik said that it is a false propaganda by the authorities that the ghee is not according to the standards which they strongly condemn. The PVMA director said that the PFA is trying to close their business but said they will not tolerate this. He further demanded the PFA to immediately end its propaganda and stop its illegal raids on ghee mills otherwise the timeframe of the strike might increase.
