KARACHI (92 News) – Former National Assembly speaker Fehmida Mirza says she is very concerned for the security of her husband Zulfiqar Mirza and warned that Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah will be responsible if he was harmed. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Fehmida Mirza alleged that Sindh police have become a political force and is needlessly harassing workers in their constituency and raiding their houses. “Everything is happening according to a plan. For the last three days, an operation-like atmosphere is created. In such situation, I fear, many people might get hurt. There is danger of bloodshed in Badin,” she said. She said that the effects would reach other areas if anything happened in Sindh. She appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief Justice Sindh High Court to take notice of the situation.
