Qaisara Elahi fails to win in vote recount in NA-64 Gujrat-III, Ch Salik Hussain retains victory

GUJRAT (92 News) - PML-Q's Chaudhary Salik Hussain on Tuesday retained the victory in NA-64 Gujrat-III after the vote recount.

PTI-backed candidate Qaisara Elahi could not secure the win despite her votes increased by 9,000 in the recount. According to official and final results, Chaudhary Salik Hussain secured 100,379 votes while his rival Qaisra Elahi got 89,795 votes.

Qaisara Elahi said that she had won as per Form 45, but she was being defeated through rigging.
