Qandeel Baloch murder case: Mufti Abdul Qavi’s statement to be recorded today

MULTAN (92 News) – As the police expanded the investigation into the murder of social media sensation Qandeel Baloch, Mufti Abdul Qavi will today (Friday) appear before the police and will record his statement. Mufti Abdul Qavi will be questioned in the Qandeel Baloch murder case and police have prepared the questions. It is pertinent here to mention that the mother of slain model Anwar Mai had revealed the involvement of Mufti Abdul Qavi in the murder of her daughter Qandeel after which the police had summoned the suspended member of Ruet-e-Hilal committee. Previously, model and actress Qandeel Baloch had invoked controversy by uploading her selfies with Mufti Abdul Qavi taken at a local hotel in Karachi. One of the pictures showed Qandeel Baloch wearing Mufti Abdul Qavi’s hat on her head while posing for the selfie. The controversial social media sensation had said that Mufti Abdul Qavi had invited her to meet him as he wanted to meet her after which she had visited the hotel and spent some time with him.
