October 6, 2016
MULTAN (92 News) – The Prosecution has declared the challan submitted by the police incomplete in the Qandeel Baloch murder case. Addressing a press conference on Thursday, District Prosecutor Jam Salahuddin said that the police had not completed the challan despite being rejected twice. He said that the challan could not be completed without arresting Mufti Abdul Qavi, Arif, Akram and Aslam. The district prosecutor said that the accused would be declared proclaimed offenders if the accused were not arrested. He said that the accused could be penalized under Section 311 even though the victim’s heirs pardon the accused. He added that he had written a letter to the CPO, seeking action against the police officers for conducting faulty investigations.
