Qandeel’s brother Waseem promised me a job abroad, discloses accused

MULTAN (92 News) – The main accused Haq Nawaz has disclosed that Qandeel’s brother Waseem instigated and promised him a job abroad in reward for the murder. During the investigation, he said that Waseem had promised him that he would take the responsibility if he was arrested and would not disclose any other accused. He disclosed that Waseem had told him that death could not be awarded in the murder committed for honour. “My father will become the complainant and my brothers will reach a compromise with the father afterwards,” the accused quoted Waseem as saying. He said that the accused Arif living in Saudi Arabia had pressurized him and he with Waseem murdered Qandeel.
