Quetta Gladiators defeat Peshawar Zalmi by 80 runs
KARACHI (92 News) Quetta Gladiators defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 80 runs in the second match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.
In the match played in Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and decided to bowl.
Batting first, Quetta Gladiators scored 216 runs for the loss of three wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Captain Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen provided a partnership of 88 runs for Quetta. Saud Shakeel played an innings of 59, and Finn Allen played an innings of 53 runs.
Hassan Nawaz scored 41, Kaushal Mendis 35, and Riley Rossouw 21 runs.
Ali Raza, Sufyan Muqeem, and Joseph took one wicket each for Peshawar Zalmi.
In response to the target of 217 runs, Peshawar Zalmi's team could only score 136 runs.
Saim Ayub was the top scorer for Zalmi with 50 runs, Hussain Talat scored 35, and Mitchell Owen scored 31 runs.
Zalmi's entire team was bowled out for 136 runs in the 11th over.
For Quetta, Abrar Ahmed took four wickets while Mohammad Amir and Usman Tariq took two wickets each.
