KARACHI (92 News) – Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad on Thursday announced that the Rabiul Awwal moon has been sighted and the month of Rabiul Awwal will start from Friday (tomorrow) while Eid-i-Miladun Nabi (SAW) will be celebrated on October 19 (Tuesday).

Announcing the sighting of the Rabiul Awwal moon, he urged the Muslims to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).

"Our rulers have resolved to make Pakistan the State of Madina. We pray that may Allah Almighty turn Pakistan into the State of Madina in a true sense," he said.

Muslims all over the world celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) on the 12th of Rabiul Awwal — the third month of the Islamic lunar calendar.
