Raheel Sharif just a normal general, Karachi Operation’s credit goes to PM: Sindh Governor

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair has said that Raheel Sharif is a normal human being and the credit of Karachi operation goes to the prime minister. 

“Raheel Sharif is a normal human being and just like other generals. An impression is given that Raheel Sharif saw the dream of restoring peace in Karachi. However, the credit of establishing peace in Karachi completely goes to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif,” the governor said while talking to media at a business summit in Islamabad on Thursday.

He said that the role of General (r) Raheel Sharif should not be exaggerated.

None of the political parties can shut Karachi now, he further said.  

Zubair said that he also awaits the Panama case verdict, and added that there is an increased uncertainty due to the delay in the decision of Panama case. He said that the verdict should now be made public.

He further said that MQM founder Altaf Hussain’s speech in Dehli was far more destructive but it is now a part of history.

“Nine-zero has been closed and nobody wants to open its locks,” he added.
