Rain expected in Punjab, KP & Balochistan

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Widespread rain and thunderstorms are expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, the Pakistan Meteorological Department reported on Monday. According to Met Office’s daily weather report, rain and thunderstorms are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Rawalpindi division, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Sahiwal divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, while isolated rain-thunderstorm is expected in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Faisalabad, D.G. Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur and Sukkur divisions. Temperature in Islamabad was recorded at 11 degree centigrade. Temperature in other cities was: Lahore 14°C, Karachi 20°C, Quetta 10°C, Gilgit 05°C, Murree 06°C and Muzaffarabad 09°C. While coldest places recorded during last 24 hours include Parachinar -03.0°C, Gupis -01.0°C and Kallat 0.0°C.
