Rain increases joy of Eid in different cities

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Rain coupled with cold breeze multiplied joy of Eid in different cities of the country on Wednesday.

The cities, including Islamabad, Kotli, Azad Kashmir, Astore, Pind Dadan Khan, Peshawar and Faisalabad, received rain. Weather turned pleasant after the rain coupled with cold breeze.

On Wednesday, the rain is likely in Lahore, Sargodha, Multan, Chaman, Qalat, Pishin, Ziarat and Qila Abdullah.

On the other hand, roads were closed due to rain and flood in Chitral. Traffic remained suspended due to flood at Chamar Khan. However, traffic was opened after several hours at Band Shandoor Road.

Earlier, the Met Office had forecast a spell of light rain with strong winds in North Balochistan, Upper Sindh and South Punjab from May 1 to May 5. The spokesperson said that this intermittent rain spell will persist till Thursday.
