ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Rain inundated low-lying areas in different areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday. Heavy rain was reported in different cities, including Lahore, Peshawar, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, Okara and Pakpattan. In Faisalabad, 24 feeders tripped due to the rain. As a result, the power supply was suspended to several areas. Thousands acres of crop has been destroyed due to the heavy rain in different areas of Punjab. Owing to the heavy rain, Tarpai drain was in flood and water entered a nearby locality. The land erosion is going on in the area due to lack of a dyke. In North Waziristan, the road link between Miranshah and villages was cut after flood in the Tochi River.
