Rain lashes different towns and cities; more downpour forecast

LAHORE (92 News) – Heavy rain lashed different towns and cities of the country including Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Quetta on Friday, while Snow has blanketed tourist resorts including Kashmir.

The rainfall in Lahore, which started yesterday (Thursday) evening, turned the weather pleasant and temperature dipped.

Tourists have started visiting parts of upper parts of the country including Kashmir, Neelum, Garez Valley, Leepa Vally, Diameer and other areas to enjoy the snowfall.

Director General Metrological office Dr Ghulam Rasool said that the rains and snowfall is expected to continue for two days.

In Quetta, the heavy rain crippled civic life in the provincial capital, and turned weather frosty.
