More rain & snowfall predicted across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The country was in grip of severe cold weather on Thursday, with prediction of more rain and snowfall. According to the Met Office, another active westerly wave is likely to enter the country through Balochistan on Friday. In Balochistan, rain with snowfall over the hills is expected at a number of places from Friday to Sunday. In Sindh, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Sindh during Friday to Saturday. In KP/FATA, Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places in KP, FATA from Saturday to Wednesday Punjab/Islamabad. In Punjab, rain thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places in upper Punjab from Sunday to Wednesday. Rain is also expected at isolated places in southern Punjab on Saturday/Sunday. In Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places from Saturday to Wednesday.
