ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The torrential rain continued across the country as the black cloud turned away towards South Punjab and Sind. According to the reports, the showers of rain and gusty winds brought temperatures down to a pleasant range in many districts in South Punjab and Sindh. The heavy rain hit Rahim Yar Khan, Kashmore and Shuhda Kot including many other cities. At least three people from Bahawalpur lost their lives and five were injured due to the fall of house roof in the heavy rain with storm. Several areas reported power outages, and many shaky constructions were either damaged or destroyed. The intense wind storms changed the weather pleasant and the people were enjoying weather. The roads and streets were turned into the pound and Nullah. According to the Met department, moisture-laden westerly winds brought wind and rain shower to Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Mandi Bahaudidn and Gujranwala on Tuesday afternoon. There was massive disruption in the power supply to many cities as the storm badly affected the distribution system.
