Rain turns weather pleasant in different cities

PESHAWAR (92 News) – The light showers turned the weather in different cities including Peshawar, Islamabad and Rawalpindi pleasant, offering delightful moments to the citizens.

Rains and continuously blowing strong winds provided much needed relief to the heat stricken people by decreasing temperature during the day and at nighttime.

The rainfall served as a respite from the sweltering heat, as the weather turned pleasant and the temperature dropped a few degrees.

Roof of a house in Peshawar also collapsed due to rain due to which one person got injured. Rain and gusty winds also disrupted power supply in several cities.

According to the met office, Dust-thunderstorm/rain with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, FATA, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Tuesday.

However, hot and dry weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country.
