ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Rain wind-thunderstorm (with isolated hailstorm) is expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Balochistan, Upper Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twelve hours. However, mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country. Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: Islamabad twenty-two degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-five, Quetta twenty, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad fifteen and Murree sixteen degree centigrade. Earlier, rain and cool breeze turned the weather pleasant and brought the temperature down in different parts of the country. According to the reports, rain accompanied by strong wind lashed Lahore and other cities of the country yesterday night. Rain was also reported in Multan, Peshawar, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Kotli, Mirpur and other cities of the country. However, the electricity has been disturbed in Okara, alpur, manchanabad, hujra Shah Maqeem and Arifwala due to the rain. Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly hot and dry weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. Rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Northeast Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Southern Punjab and Kashmir. Moderate rain accompanied by strong winds lashed different parts of country on Friday and turned the weather pleasant. According to the details garnered, drizzle and rainfall with heavy winds observed Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Narowal, Jhang and Bhakkar. Heavy rain also lashed Quetta, Peshawar, Mansehra, Skardu and Mirpur. The weather department predicted rain till Monday.
