Rainfall in Lahore, parts of Punjab

LAHORE (92 News) – Light rain lashed different towns and cities of the Punjab including Lahore on Tuesday. Rain with thick clouds took the city by surprise in the morning when weather turned pleasant. In Lahore, overcast conditions, strong winds and scattered rains caused decrease in the mercury level, making weather pleasant. Rain-thundershower with windstorms/gusty winds occurred at few places of Punjab. Rain/thunder/windstorm with isolated heavy falls is expected at a number of places in lower Sindh including Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas divisions, Islamabad, Northeast Punjab including Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Lahore divisions and Kashmir. Rain/dust thunderstorm of light to moderate intensity is expected at scattered places in Karachi, Hazara, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Multan, DG Khan divisions. Rain/dust-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Kalat, Zhob, Makran, Sibi, Naseerabad and Sukkur divisions.
