Rainy spell turns weather pleasant across Punjab

LAHORE (92 News) – Lahore Faisalabad and several areas of Punjab received heavy rain with thunderstorm, whereas the heavy and light rainfall has turned weather pleasant on Saturday. The rainy spell also blessed several cities of Punjab and changed the hot and suffocating weather in the province. The clouds covered the sky and cool breeze was blowing everywhere. The people enjoyed the pleasant weather after bearing the scorching heat in the holy month of Ramdan. The rainy spell also blessed several other cities of the province including Sangla Hill, Bahawalnagar, The rain-thundershower with gusty winds/duststorm blesses at scattered places in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sangla Hill, Bahawalnagar, Harronabad, Arifwala, Qasur and Okara. The Pakistan Meteorological department forecasts that the current spell of rainfall will be continued to Saturday evening. The temperature dropped to 30°C in Lahore, which was earlier braving over 40°C for over two weeks.
