'Rajkumari' lacks democratic attitudes, says Firdous Ashiq Awan

LAHORE (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan, alluding to PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz, said that the 'Rajkumari' (princess) is devoid of democratic attitudes.

Talking to the media on Thursday, the Rajkumari has been crying with pain since Prime Minister Imran Khan announced to hold the Senate elections through 'show of hands'.

She said that the prime minister had announced to end glitter (bribe) from the politics. "Wise people of Pakistan have rejected the narrative of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)," she added.

The SACM said that the people sitting in London want to weaken Pakistan and courts have declared them certified liars. "The SC has declared PM Imran Khan 'Sadiq' and 'Ameen'," she maintained.

She said that the PTI government would not take any illegal or unconstitutional step.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the elections are not the child's play. "The power of tendering resignations rests with Shehbaz Sharif. The PPP will neither topple the parliament nor derail democracy," she added.
