Rallies taken out to express solidarity with Kashmiris living in IIOJ&K

ISLAMABAD/MUZAFFARBAD (92 News) – Rallies were taken out across the country as well as Azad Jammu and Kashmir to express solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers and sisters living in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

In Muzaffarabad, a rally was taken out under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. A large number of people gathered at Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk in Muzaffarabad holding banners and placards with anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.

Pasban-e-Hurriyat chairman Uzair Ahmad Ghazali said that Kashmiri people had been facing Indian oppression for the last several decades but the international community had become a mute spectator.

He said millions of Pakistanis and Kashmiris around the globe have expressed their solidarity with the people of IIOJK to remind the world of its obligations to settle the lingering Kashmir dispute according to the United Nations resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Rallies were also taken out from Karachi to Khyber and from Gwadar to Gilgit. Mirpur, Kotli and other cities. In Kohala, the biggest chain of human hands was formed.

In Moscow, a ceremony was held in the Pakistan Embassy. The messages of President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan were read out on the occasion. A large number of people from the Pakistani community participated in the ceremony.
