Ramazan Sugar Mills case: Hamza Shehbaz’s judicial remand extended till Jan 17

LAHORE (92 News) – The accountability court extended the judicial remand of Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz till Jan 17 in the Ramazan Sugar Mills case on Tuesday. The court also reserved the verdict on the plea of Shehbaz Sharif seeking exemption from appearance in court. The NAB prosecutor requested the court to dismiss the Shehbaz Sharif’s plea. Earlier on December 23, the LHC had issued notice to the NAB on the bail plea of Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz for January 13. Justice Ali Baqar Najafi questioned Hamza Shehbaz’s lawyers whether they had taken instructions from Hamza Shehbaz who had expressed his no-confidence in the bench. They replied that they had full confidence in the bench.
