LAHORE (92 News) - Accountability Court Judge Sajid Ali Awan on Saturday accepted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s plea for permanent exemption from appearance in the Ramazan Sugar Mills case.

As per details, the court issued a three-page written order about the case, ordering that Shehbaz Sharif has been appearing in court regularly since 2021. He has become the prime minister and he has to fulfill his constitutional responsibilities. “It is difficult for Shehbaz Sharif to appear in court on every hearing.”

According to the written order, there will be no obstacle in the trial in the absence of Shehbaz Sharif. In view of all these facts, Shehbaz Sharif's request for permanent exemption from appearance is accepted. He will appear in person whenever it is necessary.

The court appointed Muhammad Nawaz advocate on behalf of Shehbaz Sharif.
