LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) senior leader Rana Sanaullah on Monday said that October 16 rally of opposition is a public referendum against incompetent government.

Speaking to the journalists, the PML-N leader said that if the puppet government does not tender its resignation than the flood of people will turn towards Islamabad.  "All parties have unanimously decided to send government packing and opposition does not fear ill tactics of the rulers," he added.

The PML-N leader also clarified that there is no place for turncoats in the party and any MPA or MNA will not have courage to disagree with decisions of party leadership. He also said that leadership will take decision on right time regarding resignation from the assemblies.

On the other hand, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) extended interim bail of PML-N leaders Rana Sanaullah and Captain (retd) Safdar until October 15 in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office attack case.

Rana Sannaullah appeared before the anti-terrorism court as it resumed hearing the case. Safdar moved an application seeking exemption from personal appearance, which was granted.

The counsel of Safdar also submitted a medical report of his client in the court. Rana Sanaullah and Captain (retd) Safdar are among the PML-N members nominated in the case.

It may be noted that on August 12, Lahore police had registered a case against 300 PML-N leaders including its Vice President Maryam Nawaz on the complaint of the National Accountability Bureau after violent clashes outside the NAB office.

The case carried sections dealing with the attack on NAB office in Lahore, interference in official duty and other related sections pertaining to violent acts.
