Rana Sanaullah’s judicial remand extended till Jan 4 in heroin recovery case

LAHORE (92 News) – Anti-Narcotics Court Judge Shakir Hussain extended the judicial remand of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah till January 4 in the heroin recovery case on Saturday. The court also issued notices to the investigation officer seeking a reply on the application of Rana Sanaullah for provision of a video of the ministers. During the hearing, the PML-N workers tried to enter court forcibly. Earlier, the police produced Rana Sanaullah amid tight security. On December 14, the court had extended the judicial remand of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah till December 21. However, Rana Sanaullah could not be produced in court due to law and order. The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) failed to produce the challan in the court. DSP Sarfraz Khan submitted a report regarding failure to produce Rana Sanaullah in court. On July 1, the ANF Lahore had arrested PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah near Sukheke. He was shifted to ANF Cantonment Office for interrogation. His medical examination was conducted in the ANF custody. ANF Commander Brig Khalid Mahmood supervised the arrest.
