ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has on Friday said that the federal government has accepted almost all three demands of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) pertaining to limitation on Rangers policing Powers.

After the PPP’s strongly criticized the federal government regarding rejection of summary relating to limitation on Rangers’ special powers, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders jumped in and assured the PPP of addressing their reservations.

Pervaiz Rashid said that it was wrong to term the federal government’s measures against the PPP, an attack. “If the Rangers operation is an attack on Sindh, then the provincial government is also involved in this.

He said that the Rangers operation was started after the consultation with all political parties and declared the objections of PPP baseless.

The PML leader Talal Chaudhry said that despite giving statements against each others, we should sit and talk to resolve the issues. He further defended Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and said that all his steps are for the improvement of law and order situation and this should not be made an issue.
