KARACHI (92 News) – Declaring federal government’s letter, an attack on provincial government and violation of constitution, the Sindh government has on Thursday sent a letter to federal government pertaining to Rangers’ powers.

The differences between Sindh and federal governments have reached to its peak over Rangers’ powers.

The Section Officer Sindh Home department has sent a letter to federal Secretary Interior based on strict serious concerns. The section officer stated in the letter that the provincial government after getting approval from Sindh Assembly, written a letter to federal government.

He stated that the provincial government strongly rejects the clauses of central government, adding that the Sindh government has used its constitutional right and also hoped that the central government will also not violate the constitution.

“If necessary, the provincial government can set several conditions under Article-147,” the letter said.
