Rangers raid office of Zardari's close aide; four held

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Rangers have on Friday apprehended four persons in separate raids from the offices of close aide of former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari during raids conducted in Karachi’s II Chanrigar Road and near the hockey stadium of Pakistan. The paramilitary carried out raids at the offices of close friends of Sindh’s influential personality in Karachi’s II Chanrigar Road and near the hockey stadium of Pakistan. In first incident, Rangers carried out a raid at on office located at II Chanrigar Road area in Karachi near National Bank headoffice and detained two persons. The paramilitary force has also seized documents from the office. In another incident, the security forces conducted raid at an office near the Hockey Stadium of Pakistan. During the raid, two persons were arrested and documental record was confiscated. The raids were conducted hours before former president Asif Zardari’s return to the homeland on Friday (today).
