Rape of woman & daughter: ATC sends both accused to jail for identification parade

LAHORE (92 News) – The Anti-Terrorism Court sent both accused, involved in the rape of a woman and her daughter, to jail for identification parade on Tuesday.

Earlier, the police presented the accused in court amid tight security.

The medical report had confirmed the rape of the woman and her daughter.

The investigation officer told court that it had been confirmed that the accused had raped the woman and her daughter. "We have sent the DNA samples to the forensic laboratory for tests," he added.

On Monday, a rickshaw driver and his friend had raped a woman and her daughter in Lahore's Chung area.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident. On the other hand, the IGP Punjab has taken notice of the matter and sought a report into the matter.
