Rapid increase in Omicron cases across Punjab
LAHORE (92 News) – As many as 24 new cases of omicron registered in Punjab, increasing the total number of patients to 177.
According to Health Department, 20 new cases of omicron were reported from Lahore during last 24 hours. Minister for Health Punjab Dr Yasmin Rashid has also been tested positive for omicron.
On the other hand, 310 new cases of COVID-19 reported across Punjab during last 24 hours. The total number of patients has reached 446,041.
According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), positivity ratio remained 1.80% across country. As many as five people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 during last 24 hours. 49,673 tests were conducted while the situation of 652 patients is critical.
