Ravaging flood in Indus River continues to annihilate residential areas in Sindh

DADU (92 News) - The ravaging flood in the Indus River is still continuing to annihilate the residential areas across the province.

Destruction could be seen everywhere in the districts, Dadu, Qambar and Shahdadkot. All tehsils of Juhi, Khairpur Nathan Shah and Mehar have been inundated by the flash flood.

A majority off areas, including Kabu Saeed Khan, Warh, Gaji Khawar and Katchi Bridge. The Rural Health Centre, Saeed Khan Talaqa was also inundated. The floodwater is heading towards fast towards Qambar from Warah City. The district administration has issued a red alert. In Kandhkot, two children drowned in a pond.

In Dadu, three crevices appeared in the right dyke of MNV Drain. According to the Irrigation Department, the flow of floodwater is towards Manchar Lake and juhi. As a result, Mehar Indus Highway has been closed, disrupting the land link in the area.

Meanwhile, the Pak Army, Rangers and the district administration are continuing the joint rescue operation. On the other hand, the flood victims attacked a truck loaded with the relief goods and took away all items. In Mirpur Khas, thousands of affectees are forced to lead the life under the open sky.
